ANNOUNCEMENT OF EXAMINATION COUNCIL ON OPTIONS OF ARCHITECTURE WORKS OF CLASSROOM BLOCK - EXPERIENCES OF SCHOOL OF BIOTECHNOLOGY QT.B4 (7-storey block) OF THE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY

To organize the selection of the optimal architectural option, to meet the requirements of planning, architecture, culture, socio-economic efficiency, environmental protection, to ensure harmony and unity in the overall space, landscape architecture of the International University, on October 28, 2021, the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City has just issued Decision No. 1358/QD-ĐHQG on the establishment of the Examination Council on Options of Architecture works of classroom block QT.B4 (7-story block) of International University.

Accordingly, the Examination Council consists of 9 members, of which at least 2/3 of the members are architects with knowledge and experience in construction works, representatives of the state management agency in the field of planning, architecture and representatives of social and job organizations in architectural practice:

1. Architects. Khuong Van Muoi – Former Vice Chairman of Vietnam Association of Architects, Chairman of the Council.
2. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Tien Khoa – Principal of International University, Vice Chairman of the Council.
3. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam – Vice President of VNU-HCM, Member of the Council.
4. Dr. Ho Nhut Quang – Chairman of the Council of International Universities, Member.
5. Dr. Architect Le Van Nam – Former Chief Architect of Ho Chi Minh City, Member.
6. M.S. Architect Tran Chi Dung – Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Urban Planning and Development Association – Former Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Planning and Architecture, Member.
7. Dr. Architect Truong Trung Kien – Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Planning and Architecture, Member.
8. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Architect Le Van Thuong – Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, Member.
9. Dr. Architect Pham Phu Cuong – Dean of Faculty of Architecture, Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture, Member.

The examination session of the Examination Board is expected to be held at the end of 2021 to evaluate and rank the construction exam options for the QT.B4 classroom block (7-story block) of the International University./.
