INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH DONG NAI DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
On the afternoon of August 26, 2022, International University (IU-VNU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology. The delegation of IU-VNU also attended the 45th Anniversary of the Department establishment.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Tien Khoa – Director of IU-VNU – and Mr. Lai The Thong – Director of Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding between two parties. The main content of the MOU is to enhance cooperation. Specifically, the two parties will move forward to cooperate in the field of scientific research, coordinate in the implementation of science and technology tasks, especially in promoting the application and transfer of scientific and technological research results, as well as developing products and solving technology problems according to policy.

In the upcoming period, IU-VNU and Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology will begin to cooperate in the field of technology transfer and display of Science and Technology products, such as coordinating propaganda and dissemination, organizing for units and individuals inside and outside Dong Nai province to visit and learn from the results and valuable models based on science and technology application that International University has researched and applied. From there, the two parties will gradually connect the needs to put research results and products into practice and to the market. One of the important terms is that the two parties will cooperate in the fields of intellectual property, entrepreneurship and innovation. Specifically, two parties will coordinate to organize training courses and foster entrepreneurship skills for officials and employees of both sides and students of IU-VNU.
The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong – Deputy Director of Southern Affairs Department (Ministry of Science and Technology), Mr. Cao Tien Dung – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang – Vice Chairman Provincial People’s Committee, together with the leaders of departments, branches, localities, leaders of Institutes, universities, organizations, enterprises, experts, scientists, officials and employees of the Department of Science and Technology.

Attending and giving congratulatory speech, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang expressed her gratitude and sent her best wishes to generations of scientists, leaders, Science and Technology staff of Dong Nai province. The Vice Chairman also wished that in the new period, Dong Nai Science & Technology Department will make bold changes to focus on science and technology development and implement the strategy of science technology development and innovation of 2030, orientation of 2045.
