INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY SIGNED MOU WITH LAKEHEAD UNIVERSITY (CANADA)

In the evening of March 9th, International University (IU) signed the MOU with Lakehead University, Canada. This signing ceremony marked a milestone in the two universities’ collaboration towards building an articulation program in Business Administration. Upon completing this program, students can receive the diploma from Lakehead University, Canada.

Assoc. Prof. Tran Tien Khoa – President of IU – delivered his welcoming speech to Lakehead University.

Mr. James Aldridge – Vice Provost of Lakehead University – greeted IU.

It was a big honor to have the presence of Ms. Tu Nguyen – The representative from Embassy of Canada to Vietnam in HCM City.

Lakehead University is listed in the top 1% best universities worldwide and top 100 of Impact rankings, according to Times Higher Education 2022. The school is prestigious worldwide for its excellent research quality. Lakehead University’s School of Business is accredited by AACSB. In Canada, Lakehead University is listed in the top 10 best universities (Maclean’s Magazine, 2021) and ranked 32nd in the top Global Universities (US News, 2022) with 97.7% of students’ employability within 2 years of graduation.

Assoc. Prof. Tran Tien Khoa – President of IU and Mr. Vice Provost of Lakehead University – signed the MOU to execute the articulation program in Business Administration (2+2).

Especially, starting from the school year 2024-2025, each IU student who successfully transfers to Lakehead University will receive a one-time scholarship which is worth 3,000 CAD. Moreover, admission scholarships for Undergraduates will be granted to IU students with excellent admission results to Lakehead University.
