INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY – VIETNAM NATIONAL UNIVERSITY HO CHI MINH CITY ORGANIZES IU CAREER ORIENTATION SUMMER CAMP 2022
Within 07 days, from Monday, June 27th 2022 to Sunday, July 3rd 2022, International University will organize activities for IU Career Orientation Summer Camp 2022 for more than 70 high school students (grades 10, 11 and 12) from all provinces and cities across the country. Students will spend 07 days and 06 nights being a university student, eating and staying at the National University Dormitory, taking classes with fellow students or doing experiments in modern school labs.
Following the program of the past years, the Student Affairs Department of International University will organize a career camp activity for high school students. The popularity of social networks and mass media gives students and parents the opportunity to receive more information about their career. In order to help students get accurate information about International University’s admissions as well as facilitate them to receive official career guidance from experts, International University will organize the career orientation camp at Thu Duc campus.
In addition, students will visit companies, factories, historical and cultural sites and participate in camping on the last day of the extracurricular activity. Joining the camp, campers will have the following benefits:
- Experiencing learning, doing research and experiments in 04 authentic classes of any subject that they are interested in;
- Experiencing self-discovery, career-orientation and youth inspiration passed on by experts;
- Visiting the company, factory and enterprise to have more understanding about the position, nature of the jobs and the requirements of the employer;
- Visiting and listening to the introduction about Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City – one of the two largest universities in Vietnam and International University – a member of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City;
- Visiting the historical and cultural relics of Ho Chi Minh City;
- Experiencing the dormitory life and extracurricular activities of the students of International University;
- And more than that, there will be friendship and unforgettable memories during the program.

The organizers hope that after 7 days and 6 nights of participating in the camp, students will have more information about the majors they want to study in the future. Together with assessments on their aptitude and ability, students and families can begin to develop a career path. IU Summer Camp is an intensive career orientation activity alongside with IU Open Day & Admissions Information and IU campus tours, which are held annually at International University. Together with the families, the school will carry out the mission of training students to become citizens with knowledge and skills to contribute to their families and the country in the future.
