INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY’S COLLABORATION WITH BEN THANH HOTEL (REX HOTEL)
In the morning of September 11th 2020, International University – Viet Nam National University of Ho Chi Minh City – and Ben Thanh Hotel (Rex hotel) signed an agreement on cooperation in training, retraining, research and application of scientific and technological research.

International University has considered Rex Hotel as a long-term strategic partner in training, research and technology transfer cooperation. International University develops and implements cooperation in training, retraining and professional improvement for staff of Rex Hotel at the university, including: 2nd degree Undergraduate program, Short-term training and retraining programs with certificates issued by the UniversityGraduate program. Dr. Tran Tien Khoa, Rector of International University, said at the ceremony: “The university is committed to provide training and high quality, disciplined and industrial-style human resources with English proficiency equivalent to IELTS score of 6.0 for Rex Hotel”
Dr. Tran Tien Khoa,Rector of IU, expressed his gratitude toward Rex Hotel for being a long-term strategic partner to develop training, research and technology transfer together with IU.
In addition, Rex Hotel also considers International University as a long-term strategic partner in the recruitment of university graduates. “Accordingly, Rex Hotel collaborates with International University in training, retraining, research and technology transfer such as building laboratories, simulation rooms” – Dr. Phan Thanh Long,Manager of Rex Hotel,added.
Dr. Phan Thanh Long,Manager of Rex Hotel,hopes that the two sides will improve the cooperation in internship programs, and practical activities for students.
After the signing event, the two sides will develop and implement internship programs for undergraduate and graduate students of the university at Rex Hotel and the member units of Rex Hotel in Vietnam. The two sides will also support startup projects and clubs to foster entrepreneurship aspirations among students, and provide service, products and technologies for lecturers, staff and students of the university. The two sides will also implement research and application projects related to Rex Hotel’s products and research programs, transfer technology and products in research as well as co-participate, co-organize conferences, scientific seminars andevents on related fields.
