INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY ELEVATES GLOBAL PRESENCE AT APAIE 2025

From March 24th to March 28th, 2025, the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) Conference was held in New Delhi, India. The conference gathered leading universities worldwide to foster educational collaboration, share experiences, and discuss strategies for internationalisation in higher education.

Representing International University (IU) – VNU-HCM, Associate Professor Dr. Đinh Đức Anh Vũ (Vice President) and Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Duy Phương (Head of the Office of External Relations) had a successful business trip, expanding partnerships with various international educational institutions.

A major highlight of APAIE 2025 was IU’s first-ever invitation to present at the conference, marking a crucial advancement in global educational integration efforts. Representing IU, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Duy Phương participated in a panel discussion titled “Global Internships: Advancing Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and UN SDGs through Community Engagement”.

His presentation engaged all delegates and highlighted IU’s efforts in equipping students with a global mindset, enhancing their integration skills, and stimulating social awareness through international internship programmes.

IU’s participation at APAIE 2025 not only demonstrates IU’s commitment to internationalisation but also encourages numerous strategic collaboration opportunities with top universities around the world.

IU has long played – and continue to play – a pioneering role in educational integration, fostering high-quality international collaboration programmes, and elevating the status of Vietnamese higher education on the global market.

APAIE 2025 served not only as an academic forum but also a valuable opportunity for IU to establish and strengthen collaborations with prestigious universities worldwide. At the conference, the IU delegation shared the intention of expanding bilateral programmes, student exchanges, and international internship initiatives with potential partners.

IU’s presence at APAIE 2025 is an attempt to elevate the school’s status in the global academic community, while promoting the Vietnamese educational panorama on the international market. This event highlights IU’s long-term strategic persuasion in educational internalisation.

The Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) is one of the four largest international education associations in the world, which connects universities across the Asia-Pacific region to foster cooperation and enhance the quality of higher education.

In the 2019 and 2023 APAIE, IU has reaffirmed its commitment to global integration. The 2025 conference was hosted by O.P Jindal Global University in New Delhi, India.
