INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY SIGNS AN MOU IN COOPERATION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM OF LONG AN PROVINCE

On July 12, 2022, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Long An province hosted a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a number of tourism-training universities, colleges, and secondary schools, including International University (VNU-HCM). This MOU on cooperation marks the collaboration between International University (IU) and the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Long An province to promote and support the image and tourism of Long An, as well as to assist IU tourism students with scientific research, internships, and job placement upon graduation.

Following the agreement, two sides agreed to establish the appropriate circumstances, programs and plans to increase work efficiency and encourage widespread collaboration in the strongest areas. IU and the Department will establish specific plans for scientific research, hospitality promotion, tourism product development and competitions involving tours, routes, restaurants, hotels, digital maps, and tourist service facilities in Long An province.

This Memorandum of Understanding will serve as the framework for the two parties’ cooperation and assistance to conduct cooperation programs while leveraging and exploiting financial and human resources to accomplish the joint programs.
