3,000 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN JOB FAIR 2025
On the morning of May 16, International University (IU) – Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) held the 2025 Job Fair on campus, attracting over 3,000 students and representatives from more than 40 domestic and international companies across 50 different booths.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Văn Thăng – the university’s President – expressed deep gratitude towards the businesses that have partnered with the university for over 12 years. He emphasized that the event is not only an opportunity for students to access quality jobs and for companies to find excellent talent, but also a platform for the university and businesses to share information to improve and enhance teaching quality to better meet the practical needs of employers.

During the Job Fair, the university presented appreciation gifts and commemorative plaques to the sponsoring businesses.

The activities at Job Fair 2025 aim to expand employment opportunities, share experiences, and provide career guidance for students. Additionally, the event serves as a bridge between the university and businesses, allowing students to meet, to interact, and to learn directly about job opportunities at the recruitment booths. This helps young candidates gain a comprehensive and realistic understanding of today’s competitive labor market.

The Job Fair gathered over 3,000 students along with more than 500 job opportunities.
Notably, at Job Fair 2025, IU also organized a panel discussion titled “Preparing Your Application Toolkit in the Era of National Advancement.” Experts from recruiting companies, businesses, and career advisors participated to share insights on the current recruitment market, changes brought by the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), and to guide students toward new opportunities as they enter the workforce.
Mr. Lê Hoàng Việt – Deputy Head of Talent Recruitment at Eximbank – and Mr. Trần Đăng Nhất – Student of the School of Computer Science and Engineering and Executive Committee Member of the IU Student Association – were two of the four speakers at the panel discussion “Preparing Your Application Toolkit in the Era of National Advancement.”
