60 RESEARCH PROJECTS PARTICIPATED IN THE CONFERENCE OF STUDENTS SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN 2021

On the morning of December 2nd, 2021, International University (VNU-HCM) held the conference “Student of scientific research” in 2021 in an online form. 60 works of 150 students of the school participated in this year’s conference.

For the purpose of promoting activities and improving students’ scientific research capacity, International University organizes student conferences for scientific research. The conference is not only an annual activity for students and graduate students in order to create a new academic playground, help students exchange, learn and practice, but also an opportunity to help students develop creative, scientific research ability, forming self-study and self-research capacity for students.

The Second Scientific Research Student Conference – 2021 focuses on the fields of biotechnology, biomedical engineering, engineering sciences and social sciences. With more than 60 research projects and 150 students and trainees participating, the conference also showed the great potential of international university students’ research ability. Every year, the Conference is held to create an environment to connect young intellectuals, young scientists who are studying and doing research, and also an opportunity to honor outstanding young scientists who have worked hard in the field of science and technology in previous years.

Speaking at the conference, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Canh – Vice Principle of International University – emphasized that the conference has promoted scientific research activities of International University students: “This is the policy of the university in the direction of university research, improving the qualifications and professional capacity, making practical contributions to promote the quality of training and scientific research of International University”.

After a hard-working day, the Jury selected the first, second and third prizes for each field, and also honored the participating topics this year.

This year’s conference was successful and there were many interesting topics of the students participating
