In the era of Industry 4.0, digital transformation is not only a technological trend, but it also has a profound impact on all fields including education and state management. Thus, how is the digital transformation process taking place in countries around the world in general and in Vietnam in particular? What lessons can be learned from applying technology to innovation in education and state management in Vietnam? The answer to these above questionswill be shared by speakers during the seminar named “Digital Transformation in Education and State Management.”

To prepare for the 5th Global Young Vietnamese Scholar Forum in 2022 by the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU),in cooperation with the Global Vietnamese Young Scholar Association, the HCYU of International University – VNU HCMC (IU) organizes the “Digital Transformation in Education and State Management” seminar with the hope to receive valuable opinions that can contribute to the journey of the state’s digital transformation process. The seminar is accompanied by the HCYU of VNU-HCM, organized by the Youth Union of IU Staff & Faculty in collaboration with the IU Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer.
The seminar receives the attendance of many prestigious speakers in the field of digital transformation as follows:
- Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Truong Minh – Lecturer of the School of Electrical Engineering, International University (VNU-HCM) with the speech entitled “Overview of Digital Transformation in Education in Vietnam”
- Dr. Ho Minh Nhat, Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City with the speech of “Digital Transformation in Ho Chi Minh City, Policies, Realities, and Proposals”;
- “South Korean E-government: Perspective and Lessons” by Dr. Nguyen Tri Hai, Research Professor, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, South Korea.
- “Digital Transformation in Education in the United Kingdom – King’s College London”; presented by Dr. Nguyen Tan Viet Tuyen, Postdoctoral Research Associate, King’s College London, United Kingdom.
- Ms. Le Nguyen Thuy Van – Member of the Standing Committee of IU HCYU, Officer of Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer, International University (VNU-HCM) with the talk on “Application of Technology in Building the Model of Student Innovation Camp”
