ONE MORE ACADEMIC PROGRAM AT INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY EARNS ACCREDITATION FROM ASIIN

International University (VNU-HCM) has just received confirmation from the ASIIN Accreditation Council recognizing its Industrial and Systems Engineering undergraduate program as a fully ASIIN accreditted program for the maximum duration of 5 years.

With this latest ASIIN accreditation, the total number of ASIIN-accredited programs at International University is now 16. Achieving the maximum accreditation period of 5 years under ASIIN standards is also a strong affirmation of the university’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to upholding international education standards.

The Industrial and Systems Engineering undergraduate program, under the School of Industrial Engineering and Management, was initially assessed by ASIIN in November 2023. After nearly a year of continuous improvements, the ASIIN Accreditation Council officially confirmed that the program had fully met all requirements and granted it accreditation until September 30, 2029—the maximum duration permitted under ASIIN’s regulations.

The School of Industrial Engineering and Management was established with the aim of attracting and training students to become technical professionals and managers in fields such as Production Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and Service Industries. With two departments, Industrial & Systems Engineering and Logistics & Supply Chain Management, the faculty currently offers seven academic programs designed to meet Vietnam’s growing needs in industrial development, research, education and business.
