THE AMCHAM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 2023 IS OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR APPLICATION

The 21st AmCham Scholarship Program organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham Vietnam) is officially open for application from April 17th, 2023.

In 2023, the program expects to grant 60 scholarships, each with the cash value VND 15,000,000 for students of 19 universities. Applicants must be in their third academic year or above with overall GPA not lower than 7.0 in 10 scale or 3.0 in 4.0 scale. Moreover, the program prioritizes students with active participation in extracurricular activities, clear career planning and good command of English.

By applying for the scholarship, students can earn the benefits such as a cash value of 15,000,000 VND, prestigious recognition from over 550 AmCham member companies (leading multinational countries with branches in Vietnam), and priority access to  community activities from AmCham & AmCham member companies. Furthermore, students are eligible for AmCham Scholar Alumni/ae (ASA) group with networking opportunities, job opportunities, workshops, and fascinating extracurricular activities, and chances for jobs & internships from AmCham & AmCham member companies.

This year application procedure for the scholarship program is made into 3 rounds. Among them, the online application form will be opened from today (April 17th) and closed on May 10th: http://acs.amchamvietnam.com/ . The final Interview will be held on June 3rd, 2023.Those who pass the ability test will be interviewed (in English) by HR experts from leading companies in Vietnam.

During the last 23 years, the program has been devoted to promoting the commercial relationship between Vietnam and the USA by targeting high quality work force for member companies, as well as helping students develop essential professional working skills. From 2001 to 2023, the program has granted 995 scholarships to students coming from 18 universities in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province.
