Moreover, the University’s facility, machinery, investment in research and academics must also align with the wishes of scientists, lecturers and researchers, so they are always assured of working at the University.

After 15 years, with just 40 scientists at the beginning, the University now has 250 renowned scientists from both domestic and international sources, which proves the effectiveness of the University’s recruitment policies.

The scientists at IU are not only working as educators like lecturers, but also as teaching assistants, researchers, assistants, or lab technicians.  They all engage in the works of teaching, training, and doing research at IU.

At the same time, IU adopts policies in giving rewards for academic excellence in researching and teaching. Rewards that go beyond the limit also encourage lecturers and scientists to work harder.

Moreover, the University also nurtures talents who are also excellent IU students. These students are scouted by lecturers and scientists when they are freshmen or sophomores, then nurtured to be part of research groups, getting used to the process of researching, and producing and publishing research papers.

They are prestigious scientists from the U.S., Australia, European countries, and Asian countries, etc. who decided to go back to Vietnam and chose International University, VNU-HCM as their new stop to pave the way for many new majors and research topics in Vietnam.
