INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY LAUNCHED “SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY CHALLENGE” COMPETITION

To have a healthy and beneficial competition that boosts connections between pupils and students from educational institutions in HCMC. Thereby, participants will be able to develop their innovation mindset and advance their awareness regarding the environment in which they are residing and studying. Moreover, to raise students’ awareness and knowledge about the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs), International University launched the Sustainable Social Challenge competition.

Along with the theme “For a Green and Sustainable Community”, the competition aims at searching for proposals of sustainable solutions to solve actual environmental issues that are occurring at students’ schools and the surrounding areas.

A group may have 5 to 7 members, consisting of 3 to 5 students and an advisor. Moreover, the Organizing Committee calls for participation from IU students and parents who are alumni of these high schools. 

The competition lasts from August 2023 until October 2023, and is open for registration from 14 August 2023 – 10 September 2023 via https://tinyurl.com/Register-SSC2023 (deadline: 23:59, 10/9/2023).
