INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY’S SCHOOL OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ACHIEVES HIGHEST ACBSP ACCREDITATION
On January 2nd, 2024, the School of Business Administration at the International University (Vietnam National University – HCMC) officially achieved accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) for all four majors: Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, and Hospitality Management.
Dr. Ha Minh Tri – Dean of the School of Business Administration – shared: “Currently, there are 1,200 universities in 60 nations participating in ACBSP accreditation. ACBSP accreditation is acknowledged by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) of the United States. Major U.S. universities, such as Alabama State University, Albany State University, California State University, Chicago State University, Florida A&M University, are also part of this accreditation. Our School of Business Administration has achieved the highest accreditation level from ACBSP, and is valid for 10 years, which is also the longest validity. Our graduates will significantly benefit if they choose to pursue higher studies or work abroad, as they are educated and graduated from an internationally accredited program.”
This achievement marks a significant milestone in enhancing the quality of education and training in the School of Business Administration, specifically in the majors of Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, and Hospitality Management, as well as for the International University (Vietnam National University-HCMC) in general.
ACBSP is a globally prestigious business education accreditation organization, established in 1988. The accreditation council emphasizes excellence through an accreditation process based on the Baldrige Education Criteria for Performance Excellence. By evaluating factors such as leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder relationships, academic program quality, faculty competence, and educational support, ACBSP assesses whether business programs provide rigorous educational experiences and are committed to continuous quality improvement or not.
Major U.S. universities under this accreditation include: Alabama State University, Albany State University, California State University, Chicago State University, Florida A&M University, among others.
