RESTROOM-EQUIPPING PROJECT FOR CHILDREN IN HA GIANG PROVINCE
In order to live up to the roles of the Regional Center of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development in Southern Vietnam (RCE Southern Vietnam) and the University in spreading and building community values, aiming at sustainable development goals, RCE Southern Vietnam worked with Students Volunteer Fund (part of the National Volunteer Network of Southern Vietnam) to run the Program to Build Restrooms and Community Values, aiming at sustainable development goals in Meo Vac District, Ha Giang Province. In this place, people are having many difficulties regarding their financial situation, especially with their kids’ life and study being uncertain. Therefore, it is vital to have activities that raise their awareness toward protecting the environment, assisting the mountainous community, and aiming at sustainable development goals.
In recent years, thanks to the University’s Board of Presidents’ great care, all IU staff members, lecturers, and workers enjoy their Tet (Vietnamese for Lunar New Year) to the fullest. As “the love spread is the love that lasts”, we believe that even with the slightest support, our beloved lecturers and staff members can bring enormous joy to the mountainous children this new year. Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer is honored to beloved lecturers and staff members Letter to Call for Donations to the Program. Specifically, we will donate money to build restrooms for children, give Tet presents, equip bulletins to raise people’s awareness toward sustainable development, and share and listen to the people about environment-protecting stories.
The donations will be brought to the Primary School in Xa Lung Village and Giang Chu Phin Kindergarten, Meo Vac District, Ha Giang Province.
