IU JOB FAIR 2023: THE BEGINNING OF A DREAM

On May 12th, International University (IU) organized “IU Job Fair 2023” at the University’s campus. The event was part of a series of activities celebrating the University’s 20th Anniversary.

Throughout the years, IU Job Fair has always been one of the largest events and attracted thousands of HCMC students and enterprises. In its 11th season, IU Job Fair 2023 welcomed the participation of more than 40 businesses from Vietnam and other countries. The event this year expects to attract more than 3000 students from many VNU universities and other universities in HCM City.

In this opening speech, Prof. Le Van Canh – Vice-President of IU, Director of IU Job Fair 2023’s Organizing Committee shared: “We hope that ‘Job Fair 2023’ can become a chance for students to find themselves a suitable job. We also hope that, for this occasion, the enterprises can find promising applicants and promote their image and products to young people.”

The highlight of this IU Job Fair season with the theme ‘The Beginning of a Dream’ came from the companionship of organizations and enterprises such as: Jabil Vietnam, DHL Vietnam, Vietcombank, Bosch Vietnam, Coca Cola Vietnam, BAT Vietnam, VUS, FrieslandCampina Vietnam, VTI Group, BIN Corporation Group, ANHEUSER-BUSCH INBEV Vietnam, Ajinomoto Vietnam, Friesland Campina Vietnam, Perfetti Van Melle Vietnam, FPT Software, Shiseido Vietnam, Vedan Vietnam, Rohto – Mentholatum Vietnam, Mantu Group, C.P Vietnam, Home Credit Vietnam, Grant Thornton Vietnam,… Via the event, these businesses provided students with many pieces of helpful information regarding the business, the labour market, and many attractive offers.

Dr. Trinh Quoc Dat – Dean of IU School of Economics, Finance and Accounting – delivered gifts to sponsors.

Dr Ha Thi Thanh Huong – Chair of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, IU School of Biomedical Engineering – delivered gifts to sponsors.

Dr. Vu Hoa Ngan – Vice Dean of IU School of Languages – delivered gifts to sponsors.

The representatives officially launched the ribbon-cutting ceremony of IU Job Fair 2023.

Job Fair 2023 successfully bridged the gap between participating enterprises and students from IU and many other universities. Specifically, during the event, young applicants earned the chance to talk directly to the enterprises at their booths to gain experience in interviews and better complete their application profiles.

Students went to booths and interacted with businesses during Job Fair 2023.

Students listened closely to the enterprises for the valuable pieces of information.
