The Office of Inspection and Legal Affairs was established in 10/2018 with functions and tasks:

– Inspection affairs:

Advising and assisting the Rector to comply with the inspection and examination affairs within the scope of the Rector’s management to ensure the implementation of policies and laws on education policies and relevant laws.

Inspecting the implementation of policies, laws and tasks assigned to organizations, units and individuals under the management of the Rector;

Assisting the Rector to perform the responsibilities for citizen reception, settle complaints, handle denunciations according to the provisions of law on complaints and denunciations;

Assisting the Rector to perform the responsibilities for corruption prevention and combat in accordance with anti-corruption law;

Assisting the Rector to examine, urge the post-inspection handling, post-settlement of complaints and denunciations, and after performing and post-denunciations settlement the responsibility for corruption prevention and combat in accordance with law.

Verifying the information, the lawfulness of diplomas and certificates granted by the International University as prescribed.

– Legal affairs:

Presiding and coordinating with relevant departments to consult, assist the Rector about the legal issues; protect rights and legitimate interests of the International University, the units, cadres, civil servants, public-employees, employees, trainees;

Assisting the Rector to contribute opinions on legal documents bills sent by agencies and units; make proposal to the competent agencies in amendment, supplement or promulgation legal documents; propose amending and supplementing the policies and regulations of the State in education

Making legal opinions for documents edited by other units in the International University before the Rector signs for promulgation;

Presiding or participating in organize propaganda, dissemination and education of laws, rules and regulations of the International University for cadres, civil servants, public-employees, employees, trainees;

Coordinating with relevant units to examine, supervise the implementations of the propaganda and education to raise awareness of law in the International University;

Presiding and coordinating with relevant units to assist the Rector to monitor, urge and inspect the implementation of legal documents of the State; documents in management, direction and administration of the International University and units; propose preventive measures, remedial and handle violations of law, rules and regulations in the operation of the International University and units.
